| Over the years, use of the tent has been very common amongst the inhabitants of the desert as it permits close contact with the environment and allows for its warm climate and therefore represents the most suitable means of living in the desert’s geographical dimension. As the Libyan market needs to enrich its landlord capacity, above all in the desert, we have developed two fixed camps: the first is situated in what can be described as an outdoor museum – the Akakus mountains; and the second sits in the zone of the lakes (Erg Ubari). |
